What I Offer

Studio class

​HATHA YOGA:  You are invited to participate in a mindful practice. This class concentrate on bringing balance and harmony to both body and mind, students hold each pose through several breaths and modification are given to suit individual needs. The pace is slow and gentle focusing on breathing and correct alignment, often there is no flow between poses. Perfect for people wanting to learn the core basics and single poses with relaxation techniques.

VINYASA YOGA:  In this class students coordinate movement with breath to flow from one pose to the next, mindfulness, nourishing core work and deep relaxation. Vinyasa flow helps build and maintain strong bones and connective tissue to maintain a high metabolism, healthy posture, and an active body.

Class is suitable for everyone as it flows at a medium pace with lots of options along the way. 

YIN YOGA: Yin yoga is a slow, steady, and meditative style of yoga that targets the deep connective tissues, bones, joints, fascia, and ligaments in the body. In a yin yoga practice all the postures are held for sustained periods of time (3-5 mins), within these long holds there is an encouragement of softness and an emphasis on relaxing muscular tissue.

The simplicity of a yin practice allows us to return to our bodies, provides an opportunity to observe, nurture, soothe and calm ourselves. Yin teaches us how to be gentle, patient, and nonreactive.

The classes are suitable for all levels, from beginners to those familiar with yoga.

Children's yoga

I’m a Children’s yoga teacher fully trained in the yoga bananas technique. It's an established method of teaching yoga and physical theatre to children in a fun, inspiring and structured way. The technique helps children nurture a positive image of themselves and others. 

The classes aim to maintain a child's natural flexibility. The emphasis on the breath in each technique increase the level of oxygen in the blood, resulting in optimum brain function and support for children's learning as it persuades the mind to focus on the present moment giving children the opportunity to experience a more fulfilling approach to learning and play.

Teen yoga

"Empower young people to live authentic and fulfilling lives by providing them with useful toolkit to improve their wellbeing". 

Yoga can help teens mentally refocus on the task at hand. By practicing living in the moment on the mat, teenagers can more fully concentrate on the present moment and off the mat. Teenagers who practice yoga show more positive moods, less anxiety and greatly enjoy physical (asana) practice.

Yoga classes from 11 years upwards to help relax, build strength, increases flexibility, lengthens the muscles, increases coordination and balance, builds core stability in a fun sociable group.

The Duke of Edinburgh Award - DofE Award. This yoga activity may count towards your Duke of Edinburgh's Award physical section, please check with your DofE Leader for applicability before booking. I can be your assessor for the physical section and write reports, assessment will be signed off at the end of the course.


My One-to-One yoga lessons are a very popular choice for busy people. Over the last two years I have taught many clients who found the individual attention extremely beneficial helping with stress and burn out as well as and getting fitter.

The benefits of One-to-one lesson offers you the ability to focus on personal interests, concerns or goals. Instead of following along with the yoga instructor in a class setting, one-to-one allows you to set specific goals such as for flexibility, strength or inner peace.​

Private instruction lets you work on what makes sense for you at your own pace and at a time is convenient for you. It helps you create a strong foundation, move out of pain, practice safer, master the postures and ultimately guides you a better understanding of the practice of yoga.

Corporate classes

Office Yoga: I provide corporate classes in Central & West London at a time that suits you. Corporate classes range from a small group of 2-4 people to large groups of 25 students. ​

Whether you are self-employed, a small business or a corporate mogul, both your business and your employees will benefit by incorporating yoga into your daily work routine or your wellness program.

Yoga helps to increase energy & reduces fatigue. Improves concentration & focus. Help with creativity. 

Increases positivity & moral. 

It also creates a sense of community in the workplace.

My teaching style is focussed on breath awareness and alignment in each posture, with some Vinyasa Flow sequences incorporated in the classes. This method of teaching will help you to gain strength, flexibility, release stress and find a general sense of wellbeing.

​In addition to Yoga classes, I also offer Anti Desk Yoga sessions, which aim to open the chest and shoulders and undo the damage caused by long hours of sitting at our desks.

About Happy yogis

Happy yogis was founded in 2018 by Nathalie Martignoni- Registered Yoga Alliance Teacher, Children's yoga & Teenyoga teacher.

Happy yogis specialise in offering yoga lessons and after school club to children and teenagers in schools in Kingston upon Thames. 

Yoga for children in primary school, suit all age groups, from 3-11 years. Through yoga, children can learn to relax, concentrate and be gentle in a fun and creative environment. Yoga classes will benefit children both physically and emotionally, decrease their hyperactivity, improve their focus, develop their listening and concentration skills.
Yoga for teenagers in secondary school, many young people experience mental health challenges because they simply do not know how to cope with the demands and pressure of studying and a hectic lifestyle. Yoga provides powerful tools for dealing with stress and anxiety by teaching simple technique to reduce tension and increase calm in all situations. Yoga classes helps teenagers to engage more fully in their personal lives, in school and in society.


Allow me to share a little about myself. I grew up in the French Alps and came to London to follow my passion for traveling. For 12 years I worked in the Airline industry and flew around the world. After starting a family my career in the aviation had to take a back seat. I cherished every day of been a staying home mum but While I was taking care of everyone else, I forgot who I was. Once I started to incorporate self-care and daily yoga practice into my daily life, my true, authentic self was able to breathe. From this space, is where my passion for teaching yoga came alive.

I have been practicing yoga for 20 years, exploring many styles like; Ashtanga, Sivananda, Iyengar and Yin yoga but most extensively Hatha. I have completed my Yoga teacher training course with Yoga Alliance in 2018.

I have since had the privilege of teaching yoga regularly in a private studio one-to-one clients and weekly corporates classes in Chiswick.

I teach yoga classes weekly in health clubs in Richmond & Kingston. 
I hold a personal liability insurance and Enhanced DBS check.


Schedule & Investment

Online yoga, donation-based class during the lockdown (until May 5th 2021).

Donations will go to Place2Be children's mental health charity.

A balanced yoga practice of Yin and Yang elements, suitable for beginners to advanced yogis.
Beginning the class with passives poses helps to calm the mind and carry over a mindful way of practice. Following by an active sequence and standing postures working on the muscles and blood flow, building strength and stamina.

Here are some health benefits of daily yoga practice: 

Improve flexibility, strength, and posture: Daily yoga practice will help stretch and tone your body muscles. Popular poses like the plank will simultaneously work on strengthening your arms, legs, shoulders and abs. You don't have to be super flexible to practice yoga, the beauty of yoga is that it can be practiced at all levels of ability. Yoga helps improve your posture, making you walk taller and sit up straighter at your desk. 

Weight loss: An everyday gentle yoga practice will fuel the metabolic system and will help burn fat, leading to weight loss. Yoga can also help restore the hormonal balance in your body, which can normalise your body weight. Daily yoga also strengthens the overall mind-body connection and helps you deal more effectively with unpleasant emotions rather than reaching for food to suppress those feelings.

Increase your energy: Yoga, with its unique synergy of body and breath work, is perfect when your reserves are running low.

Great poses for extra energy are those that extend the spine, such as the tree pose, allowing energy to circulate throughout the whole body, and poses that open the chest, like the cobra pose, encouraging the intake of more breath.

Reduce stress: Many work places now offer lunch-time yoga sessions because it's been shown that yoga is an amazing stress buster. Any yoga practice, even a short daily one, should be made up of three elements; poses, breathing and meditation.

Breathing methods (pranayama) will make you feel more relaxed and balanced and will help you face the day with confidence and calm. They can help you stay calm in emergency situations, think clearer in stressful situations.

Become more mindful: Yoga and mindfulness go hand-in-hand. When practicing yoga, you will shift your awareness to the sensations, thoughts, and emotions that accompany a given pose. That awareness will bring the mind back to the present moment.

Studio class; please read our Covid-19 Student Policy and Guidance before you book into a class and contact Nathalie if you have any questions or concerns before you arrive.

Please arrive a few minutes early if it is your first class so that I can meet you and discuss your previous experience and any injuries/medical conditions you may have. Please let me know prior to booking if you are or may be pregnant. Check with your doctor if you have any issues or concerns that may affect your practice.

Please bring your own mat and any equipment you may need for your class.

Please wear light comfortable clothing. Avoid eating heavy meals before a class. 

Covid-19 Student Policy and Guidance

I wish to thank you all for coming back to practice yoga at the studio. The best way we can keep everyone safe and healthy is by working together. We recommend students note the following: 

  • All classes must be booked and paid for in advance, there won’t be any walk in on the day. No cash payments will be accepted.

  • Cancellation/changes may be made with no charge as long as at least  24 hours' notice is given.

  • Please stay at home if you are unwell, or have returned from any high-risk areas, as currently recommended by Public Health England.

  • Follow Public Health England advice on washing hands more often than usual for at least 20 seconds using soap and hot water. Washing hands before and after you attend class. Anti-bacterial hand-gel is available at the studio.

  • Surfaces such as door handles, changing room and toilet at the studio are being regularly cleaned with anti-bacterial spray.

  • Please bring your own mat for use.

  • Teacher is avoiding using hands-on adjustments, using verbal communications and/or demonstrations instead.
